AMERICANA: the new “buzzword” for a genre of music sweeping
urban areas across the country.   Described as a combination of
styles from
Classic Rock,  Southern Rock, Country Rock, and
Blues.
. This music is being fueled by the new popularity of satellite
radio and the need for change from AM and FM programming.

Take these styles, stir in rich vocal harmonies, mix well with
virtuoso instrumentation and you’re ‘cookin’ with OLDE DAWG.
The present lineup of Tom Conner, Bob Giannoni, Frank Epps,
Steve “Catfish” Ahlquist, and George Calhoon are seasoned,
veteran road warriors.

Since it's inception in '2000 the band has gone through a number of
changes from a lounge trio to a five piece "POWERHOUSE"
carrying concert quality sound and lighting. The band has
performed for thousands at Festivals, Fairs, Rallies, Conventions,
and nightclubs all over the south. A proven concert attraction, the
Olde Dawg members have shared the stage with Gregg Allman,
Wet Willie, The Bellamy Bros., Pappa John Creach, Chris Hillman,
The Outlaws, Grinderswitch, Billy Joe Royal, Dan Seals, Kris
Kristofferson, Eric Quincy Tate, Marshall Tucker Band, Elvin
Bishop, and many others.
